What Do You Watch When...You're Home Sick?
One of the surest ways to get sick is to live in a climate where it's hot, then it's cold. If the weather could just make up its mind and commit to a season, we would all be much healthier.
Unfortunately, it's likely that at some point, you'll fall victim to the yo-yoing weather, or just end up at home sick for a day. Since you'll need to focus on feeling better, we've focused on providing you with entertainment for the day.
The Price As Right: For reasons that cannot be explained, this show will always be the home sick from school show.
MacGyver, Hawaii Five-O and CHiPs: Sure, you can find crime, justice and forensic dramas on TV all day long...but there's something, well, soothing about visiting the crime fighters - and criminals - of the past.
Beverly Hills 90210, Melrose Place and The O.C.: Nothing like enjoying an old-school "teen" drama - even though Melrose Place was about 20-somethings and the "kids" on Nine-oh were older than their teachers.
Above all, there is one guiding principle to follow when choosing what you're going to watch on a sick day - make sure whatever you choose to watch doesn't require much brainpower, but provides enough entertainment to keep your mind off how terrible you feel.
