Spin Me Right Round, Baby
If you're a big music fan, there are lots of live music options for you this weekend. On the one hand, there's Coachella, the three-day festival featuring everyone from Morrissey to Lupe Fiasco. It's a hot ticket - and not just because Coachella is in the middle of the desert.
On the other hand, Saturday is Record Store Day, a kind of Independence Day for the independents - independent record stores, that is. In independent record stores around the U.S. and the world, independently-owned record stores and artists come together to celebrate the art of music. So even if you're not going to be able to make the trip to Southern California, you can probably catch up-and-coming bands like Manchester Orchestra and Nipsey Hussle in your local independent record store.
