Like Elizabeth Kübler-Ross's stages of grief, there are many stages of love. In light of the upcoming Valentine's Day un-holiday at the end of the week, we thought we'd demonstrate these through pop culture.

• Stage 1:Flirtation and Dating

  "Does she like me?" "When will he call?" "Should we make the move from a mid-week date to a weekend night?" When things are going well, everything is sunshine and roses...but all it takes is one bad date to ruin the romance. Don't believe us?
